Lost and found

Is This Yours? lost objects collage

Imagine all the mittens, tools, keys, pets, friends, and homes left behind, forgotten or lost along the way.  What happens to these items after we lose them? What happens to us after we lose these things? How do lost objects change the people who find them? What do lost things tell us about the lives we have lived?

What have you lost?  What have you found?  Do you have a story you’d like to share?

I am collecting stories about lost and found items for this new art and book project.  If you work in a place with a lost and found – even if it’s just a box in a cupboard –  I’d love to hear from you.  If you’ve ever lost or found anything, no matter how small, important, or weird, I’d love to hear from you too.  Please get in touch.
